Raw water is processed through the dual-media filters, comprise anthracite along with fine sand made by gravels and marbled. These filters have a coat of anthracite (1.25-2.5mm) resting on a finishing of fine sand (0.6-1.5mm) Anthracite is coarse-grained substance that has more dirt holding capability in comparison with fine sand.
